Google Ads Setup in Shopify Store
Step 1: Install Google & YouTube App

Go to your Shopify admin panel

Search for the Google & YouTube app

Install it in your store

Step 2: Connect Your Google Account

Open the app after installation
- Log in using the same Google account you use for Google Ads and Google Analytics
Step 3: Create Google Merchant Center Account

Inside the app, click on “Visit Merchant Center”

Select “Use your eCommerce platform”
Step 4: Verify Your Website

Copy the verification code provided

Go back to your Shopify admin

Click on Online Store → Themes
-
Click the three dots (•••) → Edit Code

Open the theme.liquid file under the Layout section

Paste the code just before the <head> tag

Save the changes
Step 5: Complete Verification

Go back to Merchant Center
-
Click Verify and then Continue
-
Your Merchant Center account will be created
Step 6: Finish Shopify Setup

Return to Shopify
-
Complete all remaining tasks in the Google & YouTube app
-
Click Complete Setup
